Friday,May 31,2019 will go down in history as the day the Good People of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community in Oji-River LGA shunned all forms of differences and united in unison to embrace Peace in the once troubled Egwu Achi Autonomous Community.

Earlier on Friday, the President-general,Egwu Achi Autonomous Community -Chief Boniface Davison led the good people of Egwu Achi to The Oji-River Council Secretariat in Oji on a Solidarity Visit *to present HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru to the Executive Chairman of Oji-River LGA -Hon Harrison Okeke as their One and Only recognized Traditional Ruler*.

Receiving them in his Office,Hon Harrison Okeke thanked the Good People of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community for embracing Peace, maintaining that Peace is sacrosanct for the Progress and Development of any Community. Hon Harrison Okeke enjoined HRH,I gwe Victor Meniru to continue with the Peace initiative and resist every temptation to discriminate against his people.

Hon Okeke admonished Igwe Meniru to see every member of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community as his Subject.
The Chairman pledged his full support and cooperation for the Igwe even as he reiterated that HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru is the only Traditional Ruler of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community known to him.

From the Council Secretariat in Oji,Hon Harrison Okeke led HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru to the Government House in Enugu where he formally presented him to Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Accompanying Hon Harrison Okeke to the Enugu Government House were his *deputy -Hon Chukwudi Ezenwa, the Enugu State PDP Secretary -Hon Cletus Akalusi, the State Solicitor General -Barr Victor Emeribe and the former SSA to the Governor -Hon Chief Engr Uche Umeh*.

HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru was accompanied to the Government House by the *PG, Egwu Achi Autonomous Community -Chief Boniface Davison, The Elders, Women and Youths of the Community*.

At the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Enugu, *Hon Harrison Okeke officially presented HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru to Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the Traditional Ruler of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community*.

Earlier during an interactive session at the Banquet Hall,Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi had sought to find out from the people of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community if they had another person other than Igwe Victor Meniru to present as their Traditional Ruler.
But the People were unanimous in saying *No* to the Governor as they maintained that Igwe Victor Meniru remains their Only Traditional Ruler.

Having carefully listened to the Good People of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community, the Governor who was flanked at the meeting by the Permanent Secretary, ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs directed the Permanent Secretary to issue Certificate of Recognition to HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru.
The Governor's Directive was greeted with a thunderous applause from the good people of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community in attendance as they sang,danced and hailed Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Shortly after the meeting with the Governor, HRH,Igwe Victor Meniru posed to take a Group Photograph with his people in the Government House.
