An Elderly Woman from Obune Inyi raped by Unidentified Man

An elderly woman -Mrs Regina Kene from Abor Umulobeopu in Obune-Inyi reported this evening that she was raped today in her farm by a man yet to be identified.

The DPO Inyi insists that the victim be bought to the Divisional Police Hqtrs this morning so the Police can obtain her statement.

But after visiting Mrs Regina Kene's home this morning, she wants to take her matter to a deadly deity.

She maintains her reason is predicated on the fact that she doesn't know who the rapist is and therefore considers it a waste of time,energy and resources going to the police.

At her residence in Umulobeopu in Obune-Inyi persuading her to visit the Police.

Other Villagers have equally joined to persuade her to go with me.

Mr HC Nebe, contacted Dr Innocent Onwumere Chief Medical Doctor of the General Hospital Oji-River who gave him an appointment. 

Monday, June 17. Dr Onwumere says he will give out his best expertise on the woman. He will run series of test on her, the first being HIV, She was tested for HIV and the result came out Negative.
More result Tests will follow after Six weeks.
