Rt HON DON OKECHUKWU UNITY UZOGBADO RECEIVES ANOTHER AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FROM FRIENDS, DEDICATES TROPHY TO GOD AND THE GOOD PEOPLE OF OJI-RIVER.

Barely two weeks after the outgoing Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly was honoured by Oji-River People's Parliament (ORPP) with an Award of Excellence for an Outstanding Pragmatic Legislative Performance in the Enugu State House of Assembly in his Eight-year Sojourn in the House, Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado was in the News again as his friends gathered in the Mbogu Hall of Marvis Hotel Enugu on Saturday, June 8,2019 to celebrate a Man now widely acclaimed the Goodluck Jonathan of Oji-River.

With Chief Emeka Onuigbo coordinating the Organizing Committee that put the event together, the Enugu State PDP Secretary -Hon Cletus Akalusi led the Friends of Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado from within and outside Enugu State to attend the occasion.

It was an event that brought together all friends of the outgoing Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly.

Chairman of the Occasion,Engr Ted Onyemachi aptly captured the theme of the day's event when he said in his opening Remark:

"We have come to celebrate Loyalty.We have come to celebrate Humility.We have come to celebrate Hardwork.We have come to celebrate Excellence".

Sir Ubah Iloma,Chief Jason Oguvuokwu,Hon Nonso Okah,Chief Caesar Mbonu,Chief Pius Okorie,Nze Theo Onyebueke,Chief Alex Ilogebe, Mrs Beatrice Ifeneme,Chief Livinus Chukwuemeka,Chief Emeka Nwokeabia,Hon Emeka Mbadugha,Chief C.Y. Okorie,Comr Hillary Ikeanyionwu of the NUT and Comr Anyika Romanus of the NULGE were among the top dignitaries that graced the event.

Others were Hon Barr Chima Obieze of the Enugu State House of Assembly who represented the Speaker -Rt Hon Edward Ubosi, the Deputy Chairman of Oji-River LGA-Hon Ezenwa Chukwudi, the Deputy Leader of Oji-River Legislative Council -Hon Charles Martins Emenike, the SPA (POLITICAL) to the Executive Chairman of Oji-River LGA -Hon Ifeanyi Chibueze, Oji-River PDP Chairman -Hon Goddy Anekwe,Former SSA to the Governor on Labour and Productivity -Hon Chief Engr Uche Umeh and Princess Onyinyinye Udeh of Radio Nigeria Enugu.

Hon Cletus Akalusi who was taught in the Secondary School by Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado described the outgoing Deputy Speaker as a Man richly blessed with Widom.

On his part,Nze Theo Onyebueke maintained that Rt Hon Don Uzogbado is a Selfless Leader whose Leadership style should be emulated by all.

But Barr Chima Obieze also gave a testimony that evoked so much emotion.

According to the State Lawmaker:

"Rt Hon Don  Uzogbado has made a triumphant exit from the Enugu State House of Assembly.He will be greatly missed by all of us in the house but his legacies will continue to live on"

Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of an Award of Excellence for an Outstanding Pragmatic Legislative Performance to Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado by his friends.

The Enugu State PDP Secretary -Hon Cletus Akalusi made the presentation on behalf Rt Hon Uzogbado's friends.

Receiving the Award, the visibly elated Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado gave Glory to God and thanked the Good People of Oji-River for making him what he is today.

Amidst the thunderous ovation from his friends,Rt Hon Don Okechukwu Unity Uzogbado declared he was a fulfilled man after serving his people meritoriously.

The outgoing Deputy Speaker dedicated the trophy to God and the Good People of Oji-River.
