Check list for Entrepreneurs on resumption amid Covid 19 Pandemic

THE ENTREPRENEUR'S CHECK LIST FOR RESUMPTION OF WORK IN EASED COVID19 LOCKDOWN

1 RESUMPTION DATE
  • Consider phased return
  • Set up an advance team to organize fumigation & disinfection.
  • Approve and disburse funds for this
2 STAFF ATTENDANCE SCHEDULE.
  • Contact specific staff in line with permissible percentage.
  • Communicate attendance days and time.
  • Consider how curfew (8pm to 6:00am) will affect commuting of staff and ability for safe return
3 HEALTH & SAFETY PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL STAFF & VISITORS.
  • Identify trained health assistant to man infrared thermometer.
  • Ensure sanitizer is mounted at entrance
  • Minimum of 2 masks to be provided for each staff
  • NO MASK - NO ENTRY POLICY for all visitors.
  • Approve & disburse funds for face masks, hand sanitizers gloves etc. depending on company operations.
  • Managers to ensure all staff wash hands regularly
  • Social distancing to be maintained in sitting/desk positions
  • Office Assistant to conduct disinfection of all surfaces every 2hours
  • Identify, communicate and mark location of ISOLATION BAY
  • ENLIGHTEN STAFF ON COVID19 SYMPTOMS, ANY SUSPECTED CASE TO BE ISOLATED IMMEDIATELY while NCDC is called on 080009700000 until evacuation is carried out.
4 STAFF PRODUCTIVITY All staff should realize the strain the lockdown has put on business survival and would be required to deliver on their schedules of duty/key performance indicators to the best of their ability on or off site
5 PROVISION OF TOOLS FOR WORK FROM HOME. This will be discussed with staff individually; sacrifice & understanding will be required on both sides

(a) Although the lockdown is being eased, COVID-19 is still very much with us. We must therefore take every step not only to prevent it from affecting us, but also our colleagues and families. Together, with compliance, we can STOP THE SPREAD!
