TORCH LIGHT ON FEDERAL COOPERATIVE COLLEGE OJI RIVER

Last time, one Hon Onyirimba with his team paid a visit to the Rector of Cooperative College Oji River to discuss pertinent issues regarding the benefits of the host community in the area of employment and other  necessary benefits. Going from records all over Nigeria, host communities has quota in employment and other things necessary and our own will not be different. I am appealing to those in authority to look closely and marshal out plans on how to make the only federal institution attracts development in Oji River and it's presence felt. 

I came to understand that why the college is not popular, is because most of the people working there are non indigene and the management team too are not from the zone. Otherwise I have not seen infrastructural development in the college despite the support fund from the federal government. In another development, the manner in which lecturers who teach the students are alarming to the extent that lecturers demands 5k before one could pass his/her examination.  

College sorting is compulsory and it is being conducted with impunity. Lecturers of the college have already taken over giving project topics in exchange of an agreed amount of money, in turn bargain to write the project for the student and also type it with 30k. If the student do not have 30k, the person is subjected to pay 20k for the project. It is obvious that this is not the standard we would want our children to rod on. 

Most of the lecturers are not qualified to teach but because they have Abraham na Nna!, they where allowed to be committing blunder in education. Their concern rests on finding ways of making money. I therefore appeal to all especially our representative Hon Jeff Mba, the Chairman Hon Harrimarx and concern citizens of Oji River to align with Onyirimba group to address this anomaly. #Abetterojiriverbeginswithu
