COVID19 Lockdown Palliatives in Enugu State

COVID19 Lockdown Palliatives for okada  and Keke Riders
Enugu State government, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Services and the Tertiary Education Trust (TET) Fund, commences distribution of palliatives to Keke Riders, Okada Riders and National Union of Road Transport Workers, across the three Senatorial Districts of the State, to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) on them.










The Enugu State Emergency/ Palliatives Committee has distributed the palliatives (food items) in Enugu East and West Senatorial Districts, accordingly, and will be in Enugu North Senatorial District, on Monday, to complete this segment of the exercise. 

The Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. Sam Ngene and his Information Committee counterpart, Hon. Jeff Mbah, led the state government’s team to Enugu East and West Senatorial Districts, respectively, for the separate events, which were witnessed by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Uche Ugwu, the Chief Whip, Hon. Jane Eneh, Rt. Hon. Chuka Eneh (Udi South), Hon. Chinedu Otaka (Aninri), Udi LGA Chairman, Hon. Ifeanyi Agu and the Executive Secretary of SEMA, Mrs. Nkechi Eneh, among others.
